Hello, divers! It’s been crazy warm for this time of year these days. I really think that global-warming is real and that we really have to take some actions to slow it down and make it better for the next generation and the one after.
Today, I gave CPR & AED lecture to two of our customers. One of them is an instructor candidate, and he was giving so much attention to the lecture because he will be the one who gives the lecture in the near future. The other took her the first CPR & AED lecture almost 30 years ago, and this time was to renew her CPR license. Surprisingly, she remembered how to give CPR & AED. It seemed that she just needed to be updated about New protocol for CPR & AED.
Learning CPR & AED is essential to learn for divers for self-rescue and rescuing other divers and your loved ones. By learning, you can prevent yourself from accidents and incidents. it is also important that rescuing someone is not obligation. If you think that it is out of your hand when running into an accident, do not start rescuing. Instead, you can call out for someone who has more medical training experience and is professional at it.
Speaking from my experience, it is very import to be ready to deal with accidents because you never know when you have to face such a tragic situation like that. In fact, many things you will learn in this lecture helped me when I experienced a car accident and other incidents. So if you have a chance to take that lecture, I strongly recommend you to take it. I promise it will help you one day.
Hope you are having a wonderful rest of the day. Take care, Dive more, Dive safe through education!!!
See you next Saturday!
